Securities Times | 25 SSE-listed Companies Announce New Share Buyback and Shareholding Increase Plans Worth Over RMB 10 Billion in a Single Night

On the evening of July 20, a total of 25 companies listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) announced new share buyback and shareholding increase plans, with the combined cap in excess of RMB 10 billion, according to People's Financial News on July 20. Among them, 16 unveiled new share buyback plans, with the total planned buyback amount capped at RMB 3.96 billion. Another nine companies announced shareholding increase plans, with the aggregate upper limit reaching RMB 6.775 billion. Beyond the buyback and shareholding increase announcements, 16 SSE-listed companies also released positive earnings forecasts, while 23 others disclosed a package of favorable developments, including the signing of major contracts and proposals for interim dividend distributions.
