People's Finance News | Number of Newly Listed ETFs on the Shanghai Stock Exchange This Year Doubles Compared with Last Year, with Scale Nearly Triple

People's Finance News, December 11 — So far this year, 183 new ETFs have been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), twice the number listed last year. The newly issued scale reached RMB 158 billion, nearly three times last year's issuance. As of the end of November, the total scale of newly issued ETFs on the SSE had increased to RMB 326.5 billion, contributing over 20% to the overall growth of the SSE ETF market. Among them, 14 SSE STAR Market Bond ETFs have a combined scale exceeding RMB 160 billion, representing a 286% increase over their initial issuance, establishing themselves as an innovative benchmark connecting capital supply with hard-tech financing needs.
