Shanghai Stock Exchange and China Securities Index Co., Ltd. will officially launch the SSE STAR Market Innovation Growth Strategy Custom Index on October 15, 2025, providing more investable benchmarks for investors..

According to the index compilation plan, this index is jointly compiled with the participation of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co., Ltd. It selects 80 securities of listed companies with relatively high technology innovation ability and growth potential, from listed companies in various industries on the SSE STAR Market as index constituents, to reflect the overall performance of STAR Market-listed securities with both innovation and growth characteristics.

Index constituents are adjusted quarterly, with the implementation dates falling on the trading day following the second Friday of March, June, September, and December each year. Weighting factors are adjusted along with the regular constituent adjustments, and the adjustment dates are the same as the implementation dates of regular index constituent adjustments. Weighting factors generally remain unchanged until the next regular adjustment date. Under special circumstances, the index will be adjusted temporarily. When a constituent is delisted, it will be removed from the index constituents. For situations such as acquisition, merger, or spin-off of a constituent company, the handling shall be in accordance with the Detailed Rules for Calculation and Maintenance.
