On October 28, Qiu Yong, Chairman of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), stated at the listing ceremony for the first batch of newly registered companies on the STAR Market Growth Tier that the SSE will further leverage the STAR Market's role as a "test ground", strengthen admission reviews to better identify high-quality sci-tech enterprises, and support more companies in frontier fields such as artificial intelligence, commercial aerospace, and low-altitude economy to list under the fifth set of standards. He also emphasized support for the listing of hard-tech companies with the potential to compete globally.
