The Number of STAR Market ETFs Surpasses 100
On September 22, with the listing and trading of the E Fund SSE STAR Market New Energy ETF on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), the total number of STAR Market ETFs reached 101. As of now, the STAR Market has developed a multi-layered index product system covering broad-based, thematic, and strategy indices. The total assets under management of STAR Market ETFs are close to RMB 300 billion, making the STAR Market the A-share board with the highest proportion of index-based investment.
Over the past five years, STAR Market ETFs have flourished, not only providing investors with more diversified investment tools but also becoming an important channel for guiding social capital toward "hard technology" enterprises and supporting the development of new quality productive forces. In terms of broad-based indices, a complete system has taken shape, represented by the STAR 50, STAR 100, STAR 200, and the STAR Composite Index. In terms of industry themes, the coverage extends to key areas of new quality productive forces, including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, new energy, and innovative drugs.
Industry experts believe that the STAR Market indices demonstrate strong long-term performance and offer significant long-term allocation value. Looking ahead, with the continued advancement and implementation of relevant reform policies and the ongoing optimization of supporting mechanisms, the investment ecosystem of the STAR Market is expected to further develop and improve.
