Shanghai Stock Exchange Holds 2025 Equity Investment Institutions Exchange Meeting
Recently, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) organized the 2025 Equity Investment Institutions Exchange Meeting, focusing on implementing the "1+6" reform policies for the STAR Market, enhancing the capital market's attractiveness and inclusiveness. The SSE engaged in in-depth, face-to-face discussions with 38 equity investment institutions and 12 sponsoring institutions, fully listening to market demands and promptly responding to market concerns. While acknowledging the achievements of the STAR Market reforms, the participating institutions offered multiple opinions and suggestions, including supporting IPOs and mergers and acquisitions of hard-tech enterprises, further improving the inclusiveness and expectation stability of the STAR Market, optimizing the pricing mechanism, promoting orderly participation of medium- and long-term capital in the development of the STAR Market, jointly fostering technology enterprises, and strengthening information sharing and communication.
Going forward, the SSE will carefully study and fully incorporate the opinions and suggestions of market institutions, continuously promote an "open-door approach" to review, supervision, and services, and further improve the regular communication and exchange mechanism with market participants. These efforts aim to better implement the STAR Market's "1+6" reform policies, jointly foster a healthy capital market ecosystem, and more effectively support high-level technological self-reliance and strength.
