Shanghai Stock Exchange and Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão ETF Connectivity Achieves Further Progress
The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) announced further progress in its ETF connectivity collaboration with the Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão (B3). Itaú Asset Management successfully launched a fund tracking the China A50 ETF, continuously deepening the cooperation between the capital markets of China and Brazil.
This ETF tracks the E Fund China A50 ETF listed on the SSE, with index components representing core leading companies on China's A-share market. Through the ETF connectivity mechanism, investors from Brazil and other American countries can efficiently invest in high-quality Chinese assets, allowing them to benefit from China's economic growth in a more convenient manner.
Currently, two ETF products have been launched under the SSE-B3 ETF connectivity scheme. Under the guidance of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the SSE will continue to expand ETF connectivity cooperation, enrich cross-border investment tools, attract more foreign capital into China, and promote the high-level opening up of China's capital markets.
