SSE Appoints Members of Second Sci-tech Innovation Advisory Committee
The first Sci-tech Innovation Advisory Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Advisory Committee) of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has provided great professional support in building the STAR Market and evaluating the sci-tech innovation attributes of enterprises. In order to implement the national innovation-driven development strategy and facilitate sci-tech self-reliance and self-strengthening at higher levels, under the guidance of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the SSE has optimized the operating mechanism of the Advisory Committee, adjusted its member structure and enriched its expert resources. In accordance with relevant institutional rules and procedures, it has drawn up a list of members of the second Advisory Committee and hereby made it public.
The second Advisory Committee consists of 58 members from state ministries and commissions, scientific research institutes, and leading enterprises in the sci-tech industry chain. The members come from a wide range of backgrounds and are mostly experts in sci-tech innovation related fields, and are sufficiently representative. Members of the Advisory Committee will be involved in the Committee's work as individual experts on a part-time basis, as required by the Working Rules of the Shanghai Stock Exchange for the Sci-tech Innovation Advisory Committee. According to the national sci-tech innovation development strategy and segment-level planning, the development trends of sci-tech innovation and industrialization application, etc., they will provide opinions on relevant enterprises with respect to the industry's current situation, their technological level and development prospects, and provide policy suggestions for the SSE to build the relevant board and formulate supporting rules.
Next, the SSE will organize relevant training and meetings to regulate the members' performance of duties and strengthen discipline, thus ensuring the compliant and efficient operation of the Advisory Committee.
