SSE Launches New Offering, Underwriting and Offline IPO System
Recently, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has launched a new offering, underwriting and offline IPO system. By optimizing business processes and simplifying operation processes, the new system improves the efficiency of market participants such as offline investors and lead underwriters and reduces the risk of process operation and investor operation. This is also another case in which the SSE takes digitization as an opportunity to build a digital intelligent exchange and enhance the trading experience of investors. Since its launch, the new system has operated smoothly and received good market feedback. As of now, more than 3,000 SSE main board and more than 500 STAR Market offline investors have completed inquiries and subscriptions in the new system.
Optimizing business processes from "usable" to "easy". The new system realizes “One-stop Online Service", which allows offline investors and lead underwriters to complete all business operations through "one entrance". It changes the complex process of interactive operation between different systems, reduces omissions and makes the processes clearer. Meanwhile, it supports excluding operation and allocation data upload in various ways, making the operation mode more friendly and convenient.
Streamlining operation processes from "usable" to "fast". On the basis of fully soliciting market opinions and suggestions, the SSE has optimized and streamlined the functions and operation processes of the original system. In terms of system functions, it adds functions of mass processing of documents, full-process status tracking, aggregate information query and statistical analysis, greatly reducing the difficulty of operation. In terms of streamlining processes, it realizes the automatic introduction of structured fields, reducing the risk and time of operation.
The launch of the new offering, underwriting and offline IPO system is also one of the SSE’s projects to implement the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the integration of technology regulation and promote the initiative of "opening doors for transparent review, supervision and service". Next, the SSE will continue to give priority to responding to user needs and improving user experience, provide better and faster service experience for market users, and protect the development of the capital market with digital transformation under the development of technology.
