SSE 180 Bond Index Series and and Other Indices Will Be Launched

Shanghai Stock Exchange and CSI today announce the upcoming launch of SSE 180 Bond Index Series, SSE Target Maturity Bond Index Series, SSE Local Government Bond Index, SSE Local Government General Bond Index and SSE Local Government Special Bond Index on Jan 16, 2025, which will be investable benchmarks for investors.

SSE 180 Bond Index Series selects eligible credit bonds listed on SSE market, with corresponding credit rating and residual maturity, issued by entities and their subsidiaries of SSE 180 constituents as the index constituents, to reflect the performance of bonds issued by these entities.

SSE Target Maturity Bond Index Series selects eligible bonds listed on SSE market, with target maturity dates as the index constituents, to reflect the performance of bonds with target maturity dates.

SSE Local Government Bond Index, SSE Local Government General Bond Index and SSE Local Government Special Bond Index select local government bonds, local government general bonds and local government special bonds listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange market separately. The indices aim to reflect the performance of local government bonds of different types.
