SSE STAR New Energy Index and other 3 indices Will Be Launched

Shanghai Stock Exchange and China Securities Index Co., Ltd. announce the upcoming launch of SSE STAR New Energy Index and other 3 indices on April 3, 2023.

SSE STAR New Energy Index selects 50 securities of listed companies with the largest market capitalization engaged in new energy and new energy vehicles industry as the constituents. The index is to measure the performance of new energy related industry of STAR market.

SSE STAR Industrial Machinery Index selects 50 securities of listed companies with the largest market capitalization engaged in urban rail equipment, industrial automation, engineering machinery and other fields from STAR market as constituents. The index is to measure the performance of the representative industrial machinery industry of STAR market.

SSE STAR Yangtze River Delta Area Index selects 50 securities of listed companies with the largest market capitalization and registered in the Yangtze River Delta Area from STAR market as constituents. The index is to reflect the overall performance of the securities of representative listed companies in the Yangtze River Delta Area in the STAR Market.

SSE STAR Greater Bay Area Index selects 50 securities of listed companies with the largest market capitalization and registered in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as constituents. The index is to reflect the overall performance of the securities of representative listed companies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the STAR Market.
