SSE STAR Next Generation Information Technology Index Will Be Launched

Shanghai Stock Exchange and China Securities Index Co., Ltd. announce the upcoming launch of SSE STAR Next Generation Information Technology Index on Aug 16, 2021. After liquidity criteria, the Index selects 50 securities of listed companies with the largest market capitalization engaged in next generation internet, the core of electronic industry, emerging software and information technology services, internet and cloud computing, big data services, artificial intelligence and other fields from STAR market as constituents. The index is to measure the performance of next generation information technology industry of STAR market. As a strategic emerging industry, the new generation information technology industry is also a high-tech industry supported by SSE Science and Technology Innovation Board, which reaches a certain scale with characteristics.
