The Paper | More Than 10 Companies Disclose Updates on Share Buybacks and Shareholding Increases Over the Weekend, with Sany Heavy Industry Conducting Its First-Ever Share Buyback

On the evening of September 13, a number of Main Board companies, including Sany Heavy Industry, Tianan New Material, and Yongmaotai Automotive Technology, disclosed updates on their share buyback programs, putting real capital behind their commitments to delivering returns to shareholders. Statistics show that more than 10 companies issued announcements related to share buybacks or shareholding increases over the weekend (disclosure dated September 12 and 14).

An announcement released on the evening of September 13 revealed that Sany Heavy Industry, a leading player in the engineering machinery sector, was conducting its first-ever share buyback. The company had previously announced plans to repurchase between RMB 400 million and RMB 800 million worth of shares over a 12-month period starting July 24, 2026. According to its latest announcement, the company repurchased 623,900 shares through call auction on September 11, for a total transaction value of RMB 12.31 million.

Meanwhile, according to the latest buyback updates disclosed on the evening of September 13, Tianan New Material had repurchased shares worth a cumulative RMB 19.35 million, while Yongmaotai Automotive Technology had completed buybacks totaling RMB 47.57 million. Both companies announced their respective buyback plans in late July and early August, and have been making solid progress in this respect. Additionally, Jonjee Hi-Tech Industrial and Commercial Holding has announced plans to repurchase shares worth between RMB 300 million and RMB 600 million.
