Shanghai International Centre for Communication and Cooperation between Exchanges (SICCCE) is a non-profit organization jointly funded and established by the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) and the SSE Foundation with the approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). SICCCE falls under Social Service Institutions as defined in the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China.


SICCCE completed registration with the Shanghai Administration of Social Organizations on December 25, 2018, and was officially inaugurated during the 11th Lujiazui Forum held in Shanghai in June 2019.


Mission & Purpose

- Give full play to the positive role of the capital market in supporting the Belt and Road Initiative, facilitate the development of Shanghai as an international financial center;

- Promote international communication, exchanges and information sharing among relevant market players as well as stock exchanges, and facilitate pragmatic cooperation between exchanges.


Business Scope

- Promote China's capital markets to international investors;

- Facilitate communication and cooperation between exchanges;

- Provide training for professionals of exchange industry; and

- Conduct research and information sharing on exchange and capital market related topics, etc.


Organizational Structure

In accordance with its Articles of Association, SICCCE has established a Board of Directors and a Board of Supervisors. The Board of Directors serves as the highest decision-making body, while the Board of Supervisors acts as the supervisory body.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors is concurrently held by Dr. CAI Jianchun, President of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Ms. YANG Zhiying is SICCCE's legal representative since February 2024.
