Shanghai Stock Exchange and China Securities Index Co., Ltd today announce the upcoming launch of SSE STAR Battery Indexon August25, 2026.

SSE STAR Battery Index selects securities of listed companies from SSE STAR board, which engaged in battery manufacturing, battery materials, supporting equipment and other Battery industry chain segments of different kinds of batteries such as power batteries, energy storage batteries, consumer electronics batteries, and emerging technology batteries.The index is to measure the performance of battery sector of Star market.
