CHINAFUND News, April 13 – On April 10, Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited successfully issued China's first themed bond supporting the development of the Capital Metropolitan Area on Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE). The bond, officially titled 2026 Public Offering of Sci-Tech Innovation Corporate Bonds to Professional Investors (Capital Metropolitan Area) (Issue I), is offered in two tenors of 3 years and 7 years, with a combined issuance size of RMB 2 billion. As the country's first bond themed on the "Capital Metropolitan Area", this issuance empowers coordinated regional development with financial capital and injects strong impetus into the construction of the Capital Metropolitan Area. It not only represents a concrete step by Beijing Enterprises Group in shouldering the mission of a state-owned enterprise, but also serves as a vivid example of aligning corporate development with urban construction efforts.
