CSRC Chairman Wu Qing: Creating a Better Environment for International Investors to Invest in the Chinese Market

Insight to Capital, November 18, Beijing (reporter: Sun Ruxiang) Wu Qing, Chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), said in his speech at the HKEX Connect Summit on November 18 that the CSRC is accelerating a new round of comprehensive reform and opening-up of the capital market, and will introduce more practical measures to facilitate market access and cross-border investment.

Wu Qing pointed out that the CSRC will adhere to a market-based, law-based and internationalized principle to create a better environment for international investors to access the Chinese market. The CSRC will closely collaborate with Hong Kong regulatory authorities to jointly promote the mutually beneficial and coordinated development of the capital markets in both regions.
